Sadie’s Apothecary is an afrofuturistic wellness entity committed to cultivating bodily sovereignty and autonomy for the people of the global majority. Our virtual and in- person healing offerings interweave spiritual attunement, bodywork, somatics, and plant medicine to provide safer spaces for the healing, wholing, and holding of the collective.

Why the healing, wholing, and holding?
The language of healing, wholing, and holding arrived from the personal journey of our founder, Dame Sadie.
She describes "healing" as a "personal journey we all should welcome in order to observe and unravel our old shape, to make space for a new shape." She also adds, "this process often involves bringing awareness to your bodies historical and epigenetic record, so that we may witness how it has affected who you have become."
Wholing, she says, "is allowing time to practice the new learnings. We don't just get it right, because we have gone to therapy and done yoga. We need to be curious about how the new wisdom has been integrated into our new shape. Asking ourselves, what more is possible when we make space for new existence and permission."
When asked about holding, she said, "holding is the experience of having community embrace your changing shapes. Change can be hard for everyone and healing work definitely activates change in relationships, therefore in community. Holding is a commitment to be wiling to meet each other over and over again like it's the first time."
